Inspired by my brother Maeceo, this journal serves not only as a springboard to tell his story and support his fight as one of many who are falsely accused, but a portion of the proceeds will also help to tell the stories of countless others. Injustice for one is injustice for all. Therefore, our mission is to champion organizations that are diligently fighting the injustice within our legal system.

There are so many of our brothers and sisters incarcerated, both justly and due to gross injustice. They are caught in a for-profit system that seeks not to rehabilitate them, but to dehumanize them, strip away their dignity and break their spirit.

“I Am Not Forgotten” provides a platform in which they can be heard. These men and women have a story to tell. They are somebody’s son, daughter, mother, father, sister or brother. God loves them and is always with them wherever they are.
